All New Weapon Charms in Counter-Strike 2
On the night of October 3, Valve released a 5GB update for Counter-Strike 2. This patch included three new weapon collections, a case, stickers, and a brand new section in CS2—weapon arsenal charms. The xplay.gg team will tell you all about the new charms and show you all of them.

Even though the section is new, on xplay.gg servers, you can play with any charms you like for free without thinking about how to get them.
What are Charms in CS2?
A weapon charm (aka keychain) in CS2 is a cosmetic item: a small toy charm/keychain that can be hung on any weapon anywhere. They drop out of unique charm capsules.
In our blog, you can also find the right weapon skin for you. Our articles "Best AK-47 Skins in CS2," "Best AWP Skins in CS2," and "Best Deagle Skins in CS2" will help you with this.
We have also covered how to get skins in our How to Get Skins in CS2: A Comprehensive Guide.
How Does Charm in CS2 Work?
The long-teased charms are finally available in CS 2 with a big update. We have collected everything you need to know about this innovative accessory.
- The charm can be installed in any place on the weapon.
- Only one charm can be installed per gun.
- To remove a charm and return it to your inventory, you must purchase a Charm Detachment Pack. One set contains three charm removers.
- If you get a keychain through “Armory Pass,” you will immediately get a charm remover.
- So far, two charm collections are available in CS 2: “Missing Link” and “Small Caliber”. From each, you can get one random keychain for three credits in the “Armory Pass”, and the pass cost is $17.

The Missing Link amulets are, as Valve herself puts it in a funny meme, “sausages.” They will perfectly decorate any skin. There are classic agents, secondary characters showing different moods and seasons, a hamster cat, and even Howl.

In this collection, you will find miniature replicas of weapons like Tec-9 and MAC-10, AWP, AK, USP, and classic knives that you can hang on your real gun. It's quite an interesting idea, and it looks very stylish.

Community Reaction
The community's reaction to the new cosmetic items has been extremely positive. On Reddit, they've already noticed that the new charms don't seem as simple. They have different colors and patterns that need to be featured in the primary collection. One player, for example, received two identical Hot Sauce charms but in other colors!
Of course, the question arose about whether the new cosmetics could be sold and how much they would cost.
