What is Sticker Scraping?

Scraping stickers in CS2 is all about giving them a “used” look. You can remove the sticker entirely if you don't like it or scratch it as much as you want. 

Some players prefer to give their weapons a more authentic look, and stickers can be scratched to do that. Some stickers hold unusual designs or patterns, which can be seen if you scratch them. This effect is created gradually, meaning that the more you scratch, the more the sticker disappears.

How to Scrape CS2 Stickers?

To give the sticker the look you would like and make it more scratchy or remove part of the pattern, follow these instructions: 

• Launch CS2 and go to your Inventory
• Find the skin you want to peel stickers from
• Right-click on the skin 
• Proceed to “Scrape Sticker”
• Select a sticker you want to remove on the bottom center of the screen

• Click “Scrape Sticker” and continue until you are happy with the sticker. Or simply drag the “Level Scrape Sticker” slider, which will show you a sufficient scraping state.

Left-click on the sticker you want to scrape or remove. With each kick, the game scratches the sticker a little at a time, so keep left-clicking until you have enough.

Note that a pop-up message will appear once you scrape the sticker almost all the way off. This will indicate that if you click again, the sticker will be removed from the weapon.  

Here, you can select “Remove Sticker.” This will eliminate the sticker, or you can click on the “Undo” option if you like the scratched sticker, look you got.

Is It Possible to Undo the Scraping of Stickers?

You can't undo steps when scratching a sticker. For some reason, Valve hasn't implemented a feature that allows you to start parsing and undo your steps at the end.

So every time you click on a sticker to scratch it, it's permanently damaged, and your sticker will not return to 100% condition.

Will a Sticker Return to my Inventory After it has been Removed?

Applying the sticker itself is a final decision that you cannot undo. Therefore, once removed, the sticker will not return to your inventory.

The weapon does not use the same sticker to put on another weapon's skin or sell it on the market. It will permanently disappear. Ensure you are in the right mood before applying stickers, especially if they are expensive, such as Katowice 2014 stickers.

How Many Times Сan you Scrape a Sticker in CS2?

You can scratch the sticker up to 10 times in CS2. Each scratch will gradually erase the sticker, making it more faded and worn. After the maximum number of scratches, the sticker will remain on the weapon, but it will be severely faded.
