How to Get Counter-Strike 2 Cases

Players can get Counter-Strike 2 cases simply by playing the game as a weekly reward. These rewards can often include cases and sometimes even rare CS2 cases.

Another way to get CS2 weapon cases is to use the Steam Market. Obviously, you will have to splurge on this method, but you will also have a better chance of getting a better or rare case.

Probabilities of Dropping Items from Cases

As you know, weapons in CS2 have different gradations, from Mil-Spec to Covert, which means they are of different rarities. The probabilities of items falling out of cases by rarity are roughly as follows:

  • Mil-Spec (blue) - 79.92%
  • Restricted (purple) - 15.98%
  • Classified (pink) - 3.2%
  • Covert (red) - 0.64%

Extremely rare special items are also in CS2 weapon cases, and the reward for unpacking one is either a knife or gloves. The probability of such items falling out is 0.26%.

The small cost of this case doesn't stop the Prisma case from being one of the best CS2 cases. You can find the AWP Atheris in it, and while it won't make you much profit, it is the perfect skin for your CS2 gear. In our article Best AWP Skins in CS2, you can find other AWP skin options.

If you want to profit from the case, you can find the M4A4 Emperor. From this case, you can drop four knives, such as the Ursus knife and Talon knife, in skins Tiger Tooth, Marble Fade, and Doppler, with expensive patterns Ruby, Sapphire, and Black Pearl.

Operation Broken Fang Case

Price: From ~$5.86

Known for its profitability in the CS2 community, Operation Broken Fang has brought a collection of eighteen innovative skins that have attracted attention in the market for their unique design and potential resale value.

The Operation Broken Fang case is known for its aesthetic appeal and investment opportunities. You can find the M4A1-S Printstream and score one of 24 pairs of gloves here.

Here, you will also find an excellent Five-SeveN Fairy Tale skin, M4A4 Cyber Security, Glock-18 Neo-Noir, and many others that can bring you profit. Plus, the case is inexpensive, in the neighborhood of $5-6. Here's what players think of the case.

Recoil Case

You can get a lot of adorable gloves from Recoil Case, as well as awesome weapon skins like the AWP Chromatic Aberration, AK-47 Ice Coaled, and, of course, the USP-S Printstream, which is one of the most popular USP skins in the entire game. And the coolest part is that the case costs less than $1.

Fracture Case

Price: From ~$0.28

It contains the Desert Eagle Printstream skin you'll be able to discover in the Fracture case, which is lucky. In addition, this case includes many other cool skins, such as the AK-47 Legion of Anubis, Glock-18 Vogue, and M4A4 Tooth Fairy. You can also get a Skeleton Knife, a highly sought-after type of knife. The case is also relatively inexpensive, which increases its popularity among players.

Dreams & Nightmares Case

Price: From ~$1.47

This case contains 17 skins created by the community, which were chosen in a contest. Since they are all designed by fans, each item differs from the usual skins you might see in CS2. If you collect skins for CS2, opening this case is a must.

In addition to the astonishing knife variants you can get from them, they also contain AK-47 Nightwish and MP9 Starlight Protector. But there are some cool skins, too, like the USP-S Ticket to Hell, for example.

Snakebite Case

This is the second cheapest case in the game, with the same set of rare special items as the Recoil Case. Here, you can find such skins as the AK-47 Slate, the MP9 Food Chain, and the Galil AR Chromatic Aberration. There's also a great pair of Snakebite Case Gloves, but getting them is rare.

Revolution Case

Operation Wildfire Case

Price: From ~$2.72

If you have this case piled up in your inventory, you might get lucky and get an AK-47 Fuel Injector, which can cost upwards of $400 on Steam for the Factory New variant.
