How to Get Free CS2 Skins

Weekly In-Game Rewards
One of the easiest ways to get free CS2 skins is to use the weekly in-game reward system. You can earn drops as you play and level up your CS2 profile.
You can select one of four rewards in the Shop tab once a week when you advance to a new profile level. These rewards may include complimentary CS2 cases, skins, or graffiti.
The items you obtain can either be used for yourself or traded on the Steam Marketplace, providing a simple method to expand your collection without much hassle. Here, players have shared their best free drops.
Xplay.gg Skinchanger
Randomly dropping free skins in the game is excellent, but we know a way much easier. Servers xplay.gg is the easiest option for playing with the skins you want, not the ones that fell in the weekly drop.
In addition, you can choose any skin you like and play with it for free on the servers xplay.gg. Yeah, it's that simple. Go to the Skinchanger tab and continue playing with the desired skin, no matter how much it costs. We covered this in detail in the CS2 Skins Inspect Servers article.
It all works very simply. You just go to Skinchanger from the main screen, having previously authorized through Steam. Then, you need to choose the weapon and skin you want to play with.
Skinchanger has a search engine. You can select which weapon or knife you want a skin for, and if you know what it's called, just search for it via the search bar. In addition, you can also use skins for agents and gloves.
You can customize your weapon by using stickers. By the way, we told you about cool stickers in the article Best CS2 Stickers. You can also use the newest cosmetic items, such as charms. We also wrote an article about them, which you can read more about in All New Weapon Charms in Counter-Strike 2.
The only problem with charms is that the community is ambivalent about them, and some people openly dislike them.

Buying Skins For Xcoins
On xplay.gg, you can earn points, called xcoins, by playing in various game modes and tournaments. You can then use the points earned to buy CS2 skins and save money on buying skins from multiple websites. To buy a skin for xcoins, you just need to go to the Store tab.
Then select your favorite skin that you want to buy and for which you could earn xcoins. You will see a skin inspection window with a buy button.
Remember that certain skins, such as those marked on the screen below with arrows, are only available through drops or with an xplay+ subscription.
But that's not all the features. I mean, we did say free and the skins you want. If the first option is to go to the "Store" tab and buy a skin for coins you will not like very much, then we have a second option. You need to click on Store again but go to the Auction tab, shown by the arrow.
During the auction, players place bids, and the highest bidder receives the skin when the timer runs out. You can bid by inspecting the skin card. You will have a special button for this.
After participating in the auction, ensure your price is not outbid, and you still get the desired skin!
How To Earn xcoins?
We would also like to make a small remark and tell you exactly how you can earn xcoins to participate in auctions or just shop in the store.
It's elementary - to earn xcoins, you just have to play! One of the options for earning xcoins is Skillpass. It's straightforward; it's a type of Challenge, but it depends on your skills.
You need to spin the tape with tickets and see what you fall out of. The ticket provides a description of the challenge, which you have to pass to get the prize. As you can see in the screenshot below, completing different gradations of difficulty level will give you different rewards.
Also, for players of xplay.gg servers are presented Battlepass. It includes many levels with unique rewards and unique Challenges to increase skills and earn xcoins. You will also be able to receive skins from xplay's limited collection and skins from Valve as prizes.
The Battlepass is finished for now, but a new one is coming out very soon. The Challenges are another opportunity to earn prizes; we'll talk about them below.
Challenges on xplay.gg
In the Challenges tab, you can earn xcoins to buy skins later or compete for them in the auction. In addition, the Challenges themselves will allow you to practice specific skills, and by working with partners, you can earn even more xcoins.
What could be easier than just playing and earning currency to exchange it for what you want?
The main thing is to complete the task before the time on the timer expires. Above are the functions that have the least time left to complete, and below are those that still have much time left to complete.
With a premium xplay+ subscription, you can use the randomizer feature, so you don't have to choose a challenge but take the one that fate has in store for you.
Use of Trade-Up Contracts
This is not a free method of getting skins, but it is more profitable than buying. You exchange ten skins with a lower value for one skin of a higher rarity level. All ten skins must have the same rarity, and the one you get will be a level above them.
First, collect ten skins of the same level from your inventory. While combining weapons from different collections is possible, they must be of the same level.
Once selected, one skin will be chosen randomly and created. Once you have selected your ten preferred skins, a contract pop-up will appear, asking you to sign it with your mouse and confirm the exchange digitally.
Once confirmed, you will be sent a new higher-level skin from one of the collections that were added as input data.
Online Tournament Platforms
Such platforms provide an excellent opportunity to earn free CS2 skins. These websites organize different contests that offer participants the chance to receive skins, virtual money, or even real money prizes that can be used to purchase in-game products.
The competition can be challenging, especially when facing highly talented players or possible cheaters, but determination and commitment can lead to success.
