How do you use CS2 Knife Commands?
Before experimenting with the knife commands, you must enable the CS2 Developer Console. If you haven't already, check out our guide to using CS2 console commands: Best CS2 Console Commands.
Once you have enabled console commands in CS2, start a match in practice mode. To use CS2 knife commands, enter sv_cheats in the console.
Then, enter the second command: mp_drop_knife_enable 1. To use other knives, you must first drop the standard knife you are holding.
This option is not available in-game, but you can enable it via console commands and drop your knife like any other weapon you are holding.
Once you have dropped your knife, you can enter one of the commands we will list in the article's next section.

Can you use Console Commands to Change Knife Type in Competition Mode?
Changing the knife type in CS2 competitive modes via the console is not allowed, so you certainly won't be able to. As mentioned above, you can only enter CS2 knife commands on the training server.
You can change them between games after purchase or get them by opening cases. Spending a few minutes testing them to see their unique animations before purchasing is always a good idea.
Conclusion
Knife commands are a great way to test different knives, see how they look, and how comfortable you are with using that knife in a game.
These can also be utilized to enhance the gaming experience and enjoy time with your friends. All that's necessary is having access to the console and sv_cheats, along with the list of commands found in the manual.
