What is Lucky Vault?

CS2 has had cases for a long time in which you can open and get a weapon skin, stickers, gloves, or knives with varying probabilities. However, many players in the community recognize that opening cases is unprofitable, and to get something worthwhile, you need to spend a lot of money on cases or play for a long time. 

That's why the xplay.gg team decided to fix this and came up with Lucky Vault. Lucky Vault is an analog of CS2 cases; you are guaranteed only good and cool skin and don't have to pay for Lucky Vault.

How Does Lucky Vault Work?

Collections and Currency

There are two Collections in the Lucky Vault section - Gold and Silver. The Gold Collection is Nightwish, and the Silver Collection is Mercenary's Arsenal. When the Collection changes, its name will change accordingly.  

To get skin from any collection, you need a key that matches the collection's color: gold or silver. To get it, you must collect or buy new site currency - purple shards. A gold key has 300 shards, and a silver key has 100 shards. 

You can get shards by participating in SkillPass. We wrote more about it in the article Skillpass: Earn Rewards Based on Your CS2 Skills with Xplay.gg. You will also get shards with xcoins if you complete daily Challenges or upgrade your Battlepass. 

You can also buy shards if needed, but it's easy to earn them by playing on the servers. And so you don't have to pay for the opportunity to get cool skin.

As a welcome service, xplay.gg, give away the first 300 shards just for logging in. You can also get 20 shards daily when logging in.

The Gold Collection will change more often than the Silver Collection. Therefore, the Silver Collection will allow you to get better quality skins without working hard. 

If you want skin from the Gold Collection, hurry up; it changes about once every 20-30 days. 

Step-by-step Instructions on How to Get a Skin

To get the skin, exchange the shards for a key and click the "Open" button. 

A window will open where one of the rewards presented in the Collection will randomly drop down. 

In any case, no matter what you get in Lucky Vault, the prize is guaranteed. Guaranteed skins are dropped on the 20th, 30th and 50th attempts. Then, you will get one of the cool skins you can withdraw to Steam. 

The number of attempts to the guaranteed prize is indicated under the Collection window. 

There, you will also find the history of awards, where everything you have received will be listed. And even if you have received xcoins, you can save them from buying skin in the Store or at the Auction. We wrote about it in the article How to Get Free CS2 Skins.

The item card of the item you want to get shows the probability with which the skin or reward can be dropped. Also, all the probabilities are listed in the information below.

The new feature's advantages include that, just like in CS2, you can open cases and enjoy the feeling of gambling, but your winnings will be guaranteed to be helpful, and with great luck, you will immediately get skin! 

Even if not on the first try, once you make a certain number of rolls (they are also indicated on the skin cards), you will get what you want.

That said, Lucky Vault is like safe gambling and requires no money deposits. You need to play on the xplay.gg servers, practice, and perform challenges and tasks. You will be able to spin roulette with skins in Lucky Vault all the time. 

You can then withdraw your expensive skins to Steam, play with them on official Valve servers, or trade them.

What is the Difference Between Lucky Vault and Regular CS2 Cases?

The main difference is that in Lucky Vault, you are guaranteed to get a popular skin as a reward. And you will be able to see on which attempt you will get this skin and also the chances of it dropping. 

While in cases, according to many players, you have a chance to lose everything because you can only buy them with real money, while the Lucky Vault can be opened with the xplay currency (shards), earned through various activities. And of course in Lucky Vault unlike gambling sites there is no mandatory deposit and no risk of losing everything.

Do I Have to Buy Shards to Open Lucky Vault?

No, you don't need to spend money or make deposits like on gambling sites. You can play on the servers, complete Challenges, participate in SkillPass, or level up Battlepass and get shards for free. However, if you have a desire to get a guaranteed prize or open the case one more time, you can of course buy as many shards as you want.
