TOP-8 Cheapest Knives in CS2

It's no secret that knives are the most expensive in CS2. The price of different knife skins will always fluctuate depending on appeal, design, and rarity, among other things. Some knives cost five to six figures, while others cost even less than $100, making them cheaper than the average skin for an AK-47 or AWP.
The xplay.gg team figured out what to do if you want to buy a good knife but don't want to sell your last possession. Cheap knives are considered “under $250” in CS2. Here's our list of the eight best cheap knife skins in Counter-Strike 2.

The Cheapest Knives in Counter-Strike 2
To begin with, let's understand the principle of the cheapest knives. This is not yet the TOP-8 we promised, but let's go through them in order. By the way, you may find our article on working with knives useful: ALL Knife Commands in CS2.
Navaja Knife
The Navaja knife is generally the cheapest knife you can buy on the Steam community marketplace. Its animations don't compare to the other knives at all. You can purchase it for an average price of between $80 and $120.
Shadow Daggers
It's undoubtedly a unique knife concept, and there is no second one like it in the game, but their design isn't the most desirable to collectors and players alike, causing their prices to start at $90 and can go as high as $200 or even $300.
Gut Knife
It's not well-liked in the CS2 community mainly because of its design and what people associate it with (it's basically a fish knife). Gut Knife has some cool skins, but not much more than that. The price starts at $120, with more desirable skins like the Doppler reaching an average market price of up to $500.
Survival Knife
This variant has more fans than the three previously mentioned. Sure, it has generic pull and inspect animations, but it has one of the best “special” animations, where the player catches the knife mid-air. Prices for this particular knife start around the $130 mark and can go as high as $500.
Paracord Knife
While it has a basic extension animation, it is not that exciting. Its design is clean and attractive, with even the lowest-level, most basic finish. Prices for the Paracord start at $100 and can exceed $500, depending on the skin.
On the xplay.gg platform money is no longer crucial - here, you can play with any knife absolutely free of charge via Skinchanger. Read more about how it works in the article CS2 Skinchanger: How It Works and How to Access It on Our Servers.

The Huntsman Knife is a well-balanced choice with an aggressive, modern look that will appeal to many players.
The purple skin color adds a stylish touch thanks to the deep black base and subtle purple highlights. It looks very aesthetically pleasing.
The only downside to this knife is that scratches can be pretty noticeable in Field-Tested conditions, especially on the blade. However, this is still a fantastic option if minor wear and tear don't bother you too much.

Huntsman Knife | Night
Huntsman Knife | Night
- Release Date: July 1, 2014
- Price: From ~$109.17
- Quality: Covert

Many Reddit players recommend Huntsman, along with Gut Knife and Paracord. But while the Gut Knife is an individual choice, and not everyone likes it, the Huntsman is chosen with enviable popularity.
It looks stylish and menacing in all-black. Simplicity can always be your strong point - including in CS2 skins.

Gut Knife | Autotronic
- Release Date: June 15, 2016
- Price: From ~$168.68

- Case: Gamma 2 Case, Gamma Case
Autotronic has uniquely cool skin. It feels very much like someone's blood has already been left on the blade, which is why this knife will look intimidating. The combination of pure metal and red looks great.
And even if you buy the Battle-Scarred version with the lowest float, the knife will not stop looking spectacular. On the contrary - it will darken and look even more aggressive.
Paracord Knife | Scorched
Paracord Knife | Scorched
- Release Date: November 18, 2019
- Price: From ~$131.30

FAQ
Why are StatTrak Knives Cheaper than Regular Knives?
Unlike all other weapons in CS2, knives that come as StatTrak are generally cheaper than their base version. This is because the StatTrak feature on knives manifests as a crude engraving on the blade itself, which many consider a blemish on the overall design. This spoils the knife's appeal, lowering its price significantly.
What Makes CS2 Knife Skins Valuable?
CS2 knives are expensive due to a combination of factors that make them in high demand and limited supply. As with any collectible, rarity is a significant factor.
However, the visual appeal of the skin, its investment value, and its status are also influential.
