FAQ
Xplay.gg allows you to create matches with your own rules. To do this, select "Personal Matches" in the left menu of the website. Then, create your match by clicking the "Create Lobby" button. Before entering the lobby, you need to choose the type (Open, Password, Invitation), match preset, and server region. More detailed settings can then be made inside the lobby itself
Some match formats can be selected immediately when creating a lobby. For example, 5v5 Competitive for competitive 5x5 play, Wingman for 2x2 play, or 1v1 Aim Maps for 1x1. If you need a different configuration, you can select any preset and further customize the lobby on its page by choosing another mode in the Basic - Mode settings section, or set the required number of players using the -/+ buttons next to team names
To organize a tournament on xplay.gg, you need to set up the lobby for the required tournament format. For this, in the lobby settings - Maps section, select the tournament series format (Bo1, Bo3, or Bo5), which determines the number of maps played one after another. Map selection can be done in a predetermined order, by classic or tournament veto (team captains banning maps), or randomly from selected maps. Players can be assigned to teams automatically, balanced by Faceit elo, or manually by team captains. There is also an option to check player readiness before the match starts automatically or manually from the "Actions with Lobby" settings. You can invite players to the lobby using the "Invite Player" button, then selecting those online on the site or sharing the link with them
To play with friends on xplay.gg, create a lobby with the necessary settings and choose the lobby access type (Password, Open, or Invitation). Then, invite friends using the "Invite Player" button and select them from the list of players online on the site, or share the link to your lobby with them. Quickly find a friend's lobby in the list by enabling the "Friends Lobbies Only" option in the Ready Lobbies filter
Xplay.gg allows you to play on custom servers with maps from the Steam Workshop. To install a Workshop map, find the "Maps" section in the lobby settings and select the Steam Workshop option. In the opened window, you can insert a direct link to the Workshop map, its ID, or use the search to find maps from the entire catalog. For playing on Workshop maps, it is recommended to enable the "Allow map cvars" parameter in the "Basic" settings section for the proper functioning of some maps
By default, bots are absent in the lobby. To play with bots in Personal Matches on xplay.gg, you can select the ready "Bots" preset when creating the lobby or add bots manually. This can be done in the lobby settings - "Lobby" section - "Bots presence" toggle. Then choose their difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard, Cheaters). You can add or remove bots using the -/+ buttons in each team, the slot will automatically be filled by a bot. Note that to launch a lobby with bots, there must be at least one human player in each team
To play on the same team in Personal Matches on xplay.gg, first invite players to your lobby. After they join, they will automatically be placed in the spectator team. If the "Free team pick" setting is enabled, players can join the desired team themselves. Players can be shuffled randomly using the "Shuffle teams" option in the "Actions with Lobby" settings, balanced by Faceit rating ("Teams by rating" option), or team captains can be chosen using the "Teammate pick" option (requires 4 or more players in the lobby). Spectators occupy player slots if the "Spectator Mode" option is enabled in the "Basic" settings
To play Retake in Personal Matches on xplay.gg, select the appropriate "Retake" preset when creating the lobby or change the mode to "Retake" in the lobby settings - Basic, after creating any other preset. You can also adjust the chance of a certain round type (Eco, Force, Full Buy) by enabling the "Custom round types" option in the "Basic" section and activate random health values for players each round with the "Random HP" option. After completing the settings, invite friends and start the match
Xplay.gg allows you to relive unforgettable moments from your matches again, thanks to automatic recording of matches and best moments! You can download the demo of a played match by clicking the "Download demo" button in the Match Statistics section in the lobby, in a previously played match under "Match History," or on the "Clips" page. To watch the replay (demo) of the match, you need to extract the file from the archive, then place it in steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo. Then, open the console in the game menu and enter the command: playdemo (replay file name) without brackets. Please note, demos are stored for 30 days after the match ends, after which they are automatically deleted. Demo recording is not done if settings or modes marked with the corresponding message in the lobby are enabled.
To create a training session on xplay.gg with a friend in Personal Matches, you need to create your own lobby, invite a friend using the "Invite Player" button, then make the necessary settings in the lobby, select the map, and start the match
Demos are not recorded in cases such as: if the match was not played to the end or was manually ended before completion; if mods were active; if one or more fan settings with the corresponding mark were active. After 30 days from the end of the match, the demo is automatically deleted from the servers
