What are CS2 mods on xplay.gg?
They are game modes that change the rules of Counter-Strike 2 on our servers: guided bullets, darkness with flashlights, jetpacks, prop hunt and more. You turn them on in a personal lobby and play them with friends.
Do I need to install CS2 mods?
No. Mods run on the xplay.gg game server. You only need CS2 and a Steam account.
How do I start a match with a mod?
Press Play on the mod you like. Your lobby opens with the mod on: invite friends, press “Start match” and connect from CS2.
Does playing mods affect my CS2 rank?
No. Personal matches on xplay.gg are separate from Valve matchmaking and don't change your Premier or Competitive rank.
