Season 7 Battlepass on xplay.gg: what you can get and how it works
If you’ve been playing Counter-Strike 2 for a while, you probably know that getting something meaningful like a skin here is quite difficult. Battlepasses have become well established in other games — they add a goal and make each gaming session feel a bit more purposeful. But CS2 itself doesn’t really have such a system.
Operations appear rarely and end quickly, and there’s simply no permanent progression that follows you every day. And in this context, the Battlepass on xplay.gg looks especially cool!
A new Battlepass season has just been released! There are still 53 days left until it ends, which means you have that much time to earn something valuable and make it into the Top 500 players!
How the Battlepass system works on xplay.gg
The Battlepass on xplay is a system where you play on the platform’s servers, complete tasks, and level up. For this, you receive rewards ranging from in-game currency to skins.
You earn XP for literally everything you do on the server: kills, headshots, wallbangs, and kills through smoke. More points are awarded for useful actions: winning rounds, throwing grenades, planting or defusing the bomb. Activity on maps like surf, bhop, or kz is also rewarded — completing them gives significantly more XP. You can also speed things up through challenges and additional bonuses.
The daily challenges section offers tasks that allow you to earn more XP.
XP is needed to level up the battlepass — the more XP you gain, the faster you unlock new levels and receive rewards.
Upgrading the Battlepass makes sense if you want to get more in the same amount of time. Premium gives an XP boost and unlocks access to Valve skins. In the screenshot above, the rewards marked in red are available with the upgraded Battlepass.
What can you get in Season 7 of the Battlepass?
In Season 7 of the xplay.gg battlepass, the main rewards are skins, including expensive items like knives, gloves, and popular weapons. You can obtain them from cases in the upgraded Battlepass or by reaching the Top 500 players.
A skin in a case can be of Industrial Grade, Classified, or Covert rarity.
For reaching the Top 500, you will receive a reward from the list below. For example, you can get Paracord Knife | Slaughter, Hand Wraps | Overprint, or AK-47 | Legion of Anubis. The second important resource is xcoins. This is the platform’s internal currency, which you earn through levels and the leaderboard. It can be spent within the system, used to buy skins, and withdrawn to your Steam account. It’s easy to do — just go to the shop or auction section.
